If your business took a hit and you need to restart
- 1.Write down what still works, even if it is small.
- 2.Pick the one customer or contact most likely to reply this week.
- 3.Send them one honest message tonight. Restart with a conversation, not a plan.
If you are early in a new role
- 1.List the three people whose work touches yours the most.
- 2.Ask each one: what would make my work easier for you?
- 3.Book the first of those conversations before you log off tonight.
If you keep waiting for the perfect plan
- 1.Write the plan in five lines. If it needs more, it is too early.
- 2.Circle the smallest step you could finish in 30 minutes.
- 3.Do only that step tonight. The plan gets better once something exists.
